About the Event

Haitink conducts international soloists in this year's 'Spritual Opening' of the Salzburg Festival.

Haydn's oratorio – with its famous beginning representing Chaos, and the grand chorus of 'The Heavens are Telling the Glory of God' – is the first concert of one of the world's most famous festivals, in the Austrian city of Salzburg.
