About the Event

Peppe Servillo (narrator), Lorna Windsor (soprano) and the Berlin Ensemble — Soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic perform in Rome, under the baton of Antonio Ballista.

You will enjoy music composed at the front, in the trenches and in the concentration camp or just inspired by the immense tragedy that has engulfed Europe and the world in the twentieth century.

Music abyss: from the Great War to the Holocaust. Music by Butterworth, Delius, Caplet, extracts from Quatuor pour la fin du temps by Messiaen and the Histoire du Soldat.
