Stéphanie‐Marie Degand and Violaine Cochard join forces to explore the legacy of the transition in Western classical music from the harpsichord to the piano.

Duphly published his Third Book of Pieces for Harpsichord in 1756, the year of Mozart's birth. Six of the pieces called for violin accompaniment. It marked the highpoint of the instrument's use in Western classical music.
