The orchestra of the Bayerische Staatsoper is one of the oldest, and best, in the world. The chamber concert programme is a chance to hear the players in a more intimate setting.

Musicians from the wind sections of the orchestra play works by Ibert, Poulenc, Françaix, and Debussy's Petite Suite (originally for piano duet).
