Berlioz's most famous work was inspired by his love for an actress, and was written as a declaration of his unrequited love. Some parts have become known as concert works in their own right, including the March to the Scaffold, and the Witches' Sabbath.

This concert has no interval. The price of the ticket includes a drink from the bar (except champagne) before the concert.
