One of the great iconic pieces of the classical canon, Bach’s Saint Matthew Passion retains its huge emotional impact even 300 years on from its premiere. Performed by the widely acclaimed period instrument Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment under the direction of Mark Padmore.
