Palau de la Música Catalana Chamber Choir, Acadèmia 1750 ensemble and soloists perform cantatas composed by Johann Sebastian Bach for the Feast of the Ascension in the Basilica de Santa Maria del Pi, located in the beautiful Gothic district of Barcelona.

This series presents Catalan ensembles performing the 200 cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach in concerts throughout the year. The project is a collaboration between Palau de la Música Catalana and Auditori de Barcelona.
