An Evening for Pierre: Ensemble intercontemporain

About the Event

Join in the celebration of Pierre Boulez' 90th birthday as numerous ensembles and soloists come together to present a rich and varied evening of contemporary music.

Matthias Pintscher will direct the Ensemble intercontemporain; the Hochstapler Jazz Quartet and the Experimentalstudio de la Fondation Heinrich‐Strobel also have much to offer. Soloists will include Emmanuelle Ophèle, Sophie Cherrier, Marion Ralincourt, Pascal Gallois, and Andrew Gerzso; the program will contain works by Attahir, Neuwirth, Ravel/Boulez, Bertrand, Nono, Poppe, and, naturally, Boulez.
