Brahms Cycle II combines the music of the friendly composers Brahms and Schumann. Schumann's Piano Concerto, which the composer dedicated to his wife Clara, is performed by pianist Beatrice Rana. Brahms' Symphony No. 2, completed in Baden‐Baden, was at times called 'Die Lichtentaler'.
