The Sinfonie Orchester Berlin and excellent soloists will carry you away in the symphonic universe with the most beautiful masterworks of classical music.
The festive evening of Popular Concerts, conducted by Stanley Dodds, crowns the Christmas Quartet. You will hear, among others, the Capriccio Italien by Tchaikovsky, Mars and Jupiter from 'The Planets' by Holst, the Concertante for two violins by Spohr and the Boléro by Ravel. Soloists include the fascinating violin virtuoso Noah Bendix‐Balgley, 1st concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker, the world‐class violinist Shanshan Yao and the Spanish tuba virtuoso Angel Luis Martin Inglesias with Arban's 'Carnival of Venice'.
