Willem Brons presents: Augustinas Eidukonis

About the Event

The Willem Brons Presents series serves as a platform for introducing the public to the new generation of pianists. In this concert, three talented former participants of Brons' annual international master class will showcase their skills in a full recital at De Waalse Kerk on Sunday afternoon. Brons himself will introduce the pianists and their repertoire. The upcoming concert will feature Augustinas Eidukonis, a pianist described as wonderfully poetic and creative. Eidukonis recently achieved recognition by winning the Possehl Music Prize in Lübeck. The jury unanimously chose him as a convincing, serious, and unpretentious winner who managed to inspire with his intimate and thoughtful design. Eidukonis, a 2022 graduate of Lübeck University, expanded his musical horizons by studying with Willem Brons in Amsterdam and Marie‐Josèphe Jude in Paris. He also regularly participates in master classes led by renowned pianists such as Andrzej Jasiński, Jerome Lowenthal, Bernd Goetzke, Michel Béroff, Eugen Indjic, and Michael Lewin. Currently, Eidukonis performs solo recitals at festivals and concerts in Lithuania, Poland, France, the Netherlands, and Germany.
