About the Event

Travel back in time with Ensemble Royale de Paris and Iris Scialom as they perform the classical music by Mozart, Schubert, Händel, Bach, Vivaldi, Pachelbel and Saint‐Saëns in Paris's stunning Eglise Saint‐Julien‐le‐Pauvre.

Faustine de Monès is an award‐winning soprano who has been praised by The Guardian for her soulful expressiveness and natural presence. She has performed on international stages including Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, the Barbican Theatre, the Israeli Opera House, the Oslo Opera House and on Radio France Musique under the baton of many famous conductors.

Faustine won the contemporary prize at the Enescu International Singing Competition, the first prize and the audience prize at the Vivonne International Competition and the duo prize at the Mélodie Française Competition in Toulouse.

This was an incredible concert! Thomas Tobing is a tremendous musician and I bought his CD on the way out. His style is so elegant and the program was beautifully rendered. One is sitting in Paris' oldest church, listening to fabulous music — this could not have been better! Highly recommend?
