The Marriage of Figaro: Komische Oper Berlin
About the Event
The Komische Oper Berlin presents Barrie Kosky's playful staging of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro.
Kosky follows the meanderings and confusions of Mozart’s characters with a light touch. He squeezes Susanna and Figaro into a tiny chamber, shoulder to shoulder with the Count and the whole choir to boot, or lets them wander past each other, lost in their own confused feelings, in the dark of night on a virtually empty stage.
In German language, with German, English, French, and Turkish subtitles.
