Sebastian Heindl, a prodigious musician, has achieved remarkable success at a young age. Born in Gera, he embarked on his musical journey by training as an organist with the esteemed Leipzig St. Thomas Boys Choir. Later, he honed his skills at the Leipzig Academy of Music. Although one might assume he is deeply entrenched in Bach's music, Heindl has explored other avenues as well.

He has collaborated on John Elliot Gardiner's BBC documentary, "Bach: A Passionate Life," and has contributed to several organ recordings with the St. Thomas Boys Choir. Despite these accomplishments, Heindl's repertoire extends beyond Bach. His diversity as an artist is showcased in the exceptional performances he delivers as part of the Brasssonanz ensemble. Teaming up with brass players, he reveals the versatility of his instrument, effortlessly transitioning from the weighty gravitas of Bach to the light, virtuosic compositions in their program.
