About the Event
The Gildas Quartet, acclaimed for their dynamic performances, has captivated audiences at prestigious venues such as the Bridgewater Hall, Barbican, and Wigmore Hall, as well as on BBC Radio 3. Their innovative approach to music has been acknowledged with the Audience Engagement Award at the International Franz Schubert and Modern Music Competition in Graz. In addition to classical works by Haydn and Debussy, their Conway Hall concert features William Alwyn's evocative first String Quartet and "Strum" by Grammy‐winning composer Jessie Montgomery.
