Stellar Symphonies at Auditorium di Milano Fondazione Cariplo
Milan, Auditorium Fondazione Cariplo — Main Hall
About the Event
Immerse yourself in the stunning architecture of Milan's breathtaking Auditorium Fondazione Cariplo for the ultimate concert set to awake your understanding of classical music.
The stars for millions of years still continue to fascinate us. It is a relationship‐that with the unknown‐that has struck the imaginations of many authors, such as John Williams (who has written so much for cinema, the imaginative art par excellence) and Gustav Holst, who looking to the infinite heavens wrote The Planets, a work inspired by his passion for astrology and theosophy.
Holst's The Planets also represented a source of inspiration for several soundtracks, in fact George Lucas used it as non‐original provisional music during the making of Star Wars and later Williams quoted some of the themes in his final original score.
