Constructed in 1813, the Teatro Sociale di Como hosted the Teatro alla Scala after the bombardment of 1943 rendered unusable the prestigious hall of Milan. Through this collaboration Como began offering performances of the best artists of the time and this tradition has been maintained since that time.
