Experience a captivating concert celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of the Arab world, featuring renowned orchestra conductor Rula Jaradat. Hailing from Jordan, Jaradat is not only the founder of the first all‐female traditional music ensemble in her country, but also a masterful qanun player. With its 78 strings and three and a half octave range, the qanun exudes an enchanting and spiritual quality that forms the backbone of Arab instrumental music. Joining Jaradat on stage is the talented Nadin Qubain, a versatile musician proficient in the req drum and a host of other instruments. Trained at the National Conservatory of Music in Amman, Qubain brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the performance, making this concert an unforgettable journey through the sounds, colors, and atmospheres of the Arab world.
