Piano Recital: Tiffany Poon at Palais im Großen Garten Dresden

Twice postponed because of the pandemic, the piano recital of this exceptional artist now finally takes place, and Tiffany Poon can unleash her pianistic passion at the Dresden Music Festival. The artist, the recipient of a scholarship to the famous Juilliard School in New York at the tender age of eight, has won numerous competitions and also holds a degree in philosophy, while also being an intense user of social media, where her clips offer insights into the daily life of a musician. In the atmospheric surroundings of the Palais im Großen Garten, she performs works by Clara and Robert Schumann. In them, the artist explores the emotional contrasts inherent in the works, as well as the fictitious fantasy figures of Florestan and Eusebius created by Robert Schumann’s imagination.
