Pianist Mariam Batsashvili at the Sapienza University in Rome

About the Event

The winner of the 2014 Liszt Prize, Mariam Batiashvili, will perform at Sapienza University of Rome in a concert that promises standing ovations.

Unsurprisingly, Liszt forms the bulk of Batiashvili's program. For this event, the following repertoire has been selected:

Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12
Chopin Andante spianato e grande polacca brillante op. 22
Liszt Fantasia on the themes of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni (completed by Leslie Howard)
