About the Event

Join conductor Paavo Järvi and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra (Wiener Symphoniker) for a musical evening that spans four centuries, with works by Mozart, Richard Strauss, and Erkki‐Sven Tüür.

The program begins with Tüür's work "Sow the Wind", commissioned by the Wiener Symphoniker, the Orchestre de Paris and the Philharmonie de Paris. For Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 9, the Wiener Symphoniker will be joined by pianist Lars Vogt, before rounding off with Richard Strauss' symphonic poem "Thus spoke Zarathustra".
