When times are good, people like to sing and listen to operetta. With this in mind, Diana Damrau and Nikolai Schukoff present a duo evening with arias and scenes from Parisian, Viennese and Berlin operettas — in the grand sound of the era in which they were written, when these works still competed with grand opera for unusual style and opulence.
