Odeon Concert: Romantische Oktette
Munich, Allerheiligen Hofkirche — Main Hall
About the Event
Immerse yourself in the stunning architecture of Munich's breathtaking Residenz München for the ultimate concert set to awake your understanding of chamber music.
While the 2022/23 season primarily highlighted Paul Ben‐Haim's chamber music works, this season focuses on the composer's song oeuvre. Paul Ben‐Haim was born Paul Frankenburger in Munich in 1897 and emigrated to Israel in 1933, where he became one of the most important figures in Israel's burgeoning musical life. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Paul Ben‐Haim's death.
Each concert will feature a song cycle by Ben‐Haim. The song cycles are artistically supervised and prepared by Prof. Gerold Huber.
