Musiklounge: Aoife O’Donovan & Friends

About the Event

The singer‐songwriter Aoife O’Donovan is among the most exciting artists of her generation. As a co‐founder of the alternative‐bluegrass band Crooked Still and the folk trio I’m with her (with Sara Watkins and Sarah Jarosz), but also as the singer on the Grammy‐winning CD »The Goat Rodeo Sessions« by Yo‐Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile, the American with Irish roots has made a name for herself as a versatile voice on the music scene. The new format »Musiklounge« enables her to finally make her Dresden Music Festival debut at the Löwensaal, which has recently been rebuilt as a high‐carat performance venue.
