Mozart Dinner Concert: New Year's Eve Gala 2023
About the Event
Take a trip to the Mozart era and be enchanted by candlelight, a menu inspired by historical recipes, artists in rococo dress and of course the music of Mozart! As a special highlight, our Queen of the Night, a coloratura soprano, will sing for you!
3 music sets á 20‐30 minutes between courses with the Amadeus Consort Salzburg consisting of 5 strings and 2 singers in period costumes.
Arias and duets from Mozart's operas 'Le Nozze di Figaro', 'Don Giovanni' and 'The Magic Flute' are presented.
A delicious New Year menu will be served during the intermissions.

Amuse:Oyster au gratin, Champagne spuma (greeting from the kitchen)
Cold appetizer: Pickled cold smoked fillet of beef, Tomato salsa, Pecorino, Vinschgauer cheese
Soup: Duet of shrimp, Bisque, Praline
Warm starter: Saltimbocca of cod, Tomato mousseline, Beurre Blanc
Main course: Fillet of Salzburg milk‐fed veal wrapped in spinach, Potato tart, Romanesco, Choron sauce
Dessert: Mille Feuille from the Mozartkugel
Vegetarian menu
Amuse: Tomato leather, vegan mozzarella (greeting from the kitchen)
Cold appetizer: Variation from the multicolored beetroot, Date, Pecan, Yuzu
Soup: White tomato essence, Basil caviar
Warm starter: Croquette from the Belugal lens, Cranberry, vegan bacon
Main course: Ravioli “al porcino”, Porcini mushroom, Cashew nut
Dessert: Flambéed figs, Port wine, chestnuts, chilli

Please note that on New Year's Eve in the St. Peter Restaurant, increased drink prices apply and no open beverages are included in the ticket price.
The event ends at about 22:30/23:00. Of course, you are welcome to spend the turn of the year in the Baroque Hall.
