Embark on a journey to experience the sheer beauty of piano music at St. Mary Le Strand Church in London. This incredible performance brings masterworks from the renowned Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to life, immersing you in a world of musical brilliance.
Iyad, a rising star artist nominated by Classic FM for 2022, has established himself as a prize‐winning musician, having triumphed at the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International Auditions in 2021.
In his 23/24 season, Iyad has a plethora of exciting highlights lined up. He will be making a return to the BBC National Orchestra of Wales for Liszt Piano Concerto No. 2 while gracing the stages of prestigious venues such as the Berlin Konzerthaus, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Lammermuir Festival, and Barber Institute Birmingham. Additionally, he will be captivating audiences at the Leicester International Music Festival with a series of recitals, where he will showcase the complete Mozart Piano Sonatas alongside newly commissioned pieces inspired by these masterworks.
The following season, 2022/23, will see Iyad's triumphant return to the Wigmore Hall as both a soloist and chamber musician. He will also grace the stages of the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham International Piano series, Perth Concert Hall, and Bath Festivals with his mesmerizing performances.
Iyad's concert repertoire includes remarkable recitals at acclaimed events such as the Brighton Festival, Lake District Summer Music Festival, Bridgewater Hall, and Stoller Hall in Manchester (broadcasted by BBC Radio 3). He has also captivated audiences at prestigious venues like Leeds Town Hall, Laeiszhalle (Hamburg), and Festival Musique D'Abord in France. His talent has taken him across the globe, with recitals at Steinway Hall (New York), Castleton Festival (Virginia), and Dubai Opera House.
In 2020, Iyad's expertise extended beyond performance, as he contributed to a BBC Arabic documentary titled 'London Lockdown.' In this documentary, he not only appeared as a character but also recorded the soundtrack for the music.
Furthermore, Iyad regularly collaborates with oboist Armand Djikoloum, and together, they have an exciting lineup of concerts scheduled across the UK, including prominent events like the Lammermuir Festival and Leeds International Concert series.
