Mathieu Salama in concert: Baroque Arias for Farinelli

About the Event

Countertenor Mathieu Salama offers a programme in homage to the castrati by singing arias for Farinelli and other great castrati.

The countertenor will be accompanied by his ensemble. On the programme is an anthology of arias and duets, expressing joy, melancholy, passion, pain and madness. Excerpts from the greatest operas by Vivaldi, Handel, Monteverdi, Frescobaldi as well as some poetic arias by Purcell.
