Teatro dell'Opera di Roma
Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, an esteemed opera house nestled in the heart of Rome, was erected in a brisk 18 months and unveiled in 1880 with a staging of Rossini's Semiramide. Renowned for its superb acoustics, the building's design mimics a 'resonance chamber,' ensuring immaculate sound quality for an unparalleled musical experience. The architectural genius, Sfondrini, shaped it into a classic horseshoe configuration, while Annibale Brugnoli enhanced its dome with exquisite frescoes. This principal venue boasts three layers of boxes, dual galleries, an amphitheater, and can accommodate an audience of 2,212.
