About the Event

Known as 'flauto dolce' in Italian and 'recorder' in English, this seemingly identical instrument takes on a whole new dimension when witnessed during a concert by Lucie Horsch. Hailing from the Netherlands and at 25 years old, she has been playing since the age of five and made her first live television appearance at just nine years old. Her repertoire spans a wide range, from Dutch folk music to Kurtág, Bach to Berio, Telemann to Stravinsky. Throughout her performance, she showcases ten different variants of the recorder, from the Renaissance soprano recorder to the 'flauto di voce,' creating a captivating and evolving experience for the audience.
