Whether you are hearing these compositions for the first or time or already know them well, you will appreciate the lively approach of our superlative string players led by the inspirational violinist Lorraine McAslan, as they recreate this warm and life‐affirming music.
The outstanding ensemble London Octave (director Dietrich Bethge) was formed from London’s leading musicians in 2000. Since then they have performed over 150 concerts, not only for their audience’s, but also for their own enjoyment. They have appeared on BBC radio, toured abroad and made several CD’s.
