Kristian Bezuidenhout, Jan Willem de Vriend & Konzerthausorchester Berlin

About the Event

South African pianist Kristian Bezuidenhout joins the Konzerthausorchester Berlin for a program of Wilms, Mozart and Mendelssohn.

Most of Wilms's symphonies have been lost to obscurity, but the composer's Symphony in D minor survives. He is best known for composing the music for what served as the Dutch national anthem for over a hundred years. The program is completed with a Mozart concerto and Mendelssohn's first symphony, written when he was 15 years old.
