Having premiered Widmann's new Sonata in New York earlier in the season, Uchida now turns accompanist to showcase the multi‐talented musician as clarinet soloist in works by Brahms and Berg. Both musicians perform alone in two works by Widmann, and Uchida plays Schubert and Schumann — a repertoire for which she is justly acclaimed
