Jussen Brothers: Piano Duo

About the Event

Don't settle for one piano virtuoso when you can have a pair! The Dutch brothers Lucas and Arthur Jussen have lived in the musical spotlight since childhood, performing music written for four hands in concert halls around the world, alongside some of the most celebrated musical names of the era.

Now in their twenties, the brothers' expertise and experience show clearly in their performances, as well as a deepening maturity that impacts both choice of repertoire, and interpretation. Their program in Seville begins with Mozart's classic Sonata for Two Pianos K.V 448. Diverting through the high Romantic sparkle of Mendelssohn and Schubert, they conclude with Stravinsky's stark, intense 'Rite of Spring' arranged for four hands.
