In Jerez, the birthplace of flamenco, we are beckoned to celebrate the enduring heritage left by iconic figures such as La Serneta, Manuel Torre, El Loco Mateo, and Terremoto, who have embedded flamenco with a spirit of authenticity and purity. Today, the tradition is vibrantly upheld by four vocalists – Coral de los Reyes, Felipa del Moreno, Tamara Tañé, and Marga de Jerez. With the melodic strumming of José Gálvez on guitar, they meld the old with the new, capturing the essence of flamenco's soulful purity that resonates throughout the region.
