The young Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński (Warsaw, 1990) is not only one of the most celebrated singers of his generation, with critics attesting to his exceptionally beautiful voice and enormous impact on stage. He is also a singer who strikes a chord with a young audience who admire him and follow him on social media. Orliński is a passionate B‐boy, i.e. a recognised break‐dance artist who has even won prizes in hip‐hop competitions and is associated with urban culture. He has appeared in fashion commercials and worked as a dancer, model and acrobat in campaigns for Nike, Samsung or Levi's and other international companies.

For his Seville debut, Jakub Józef Orliński will be accompanied by Il Giardino d'Amore, the excellent baroque ensemble known for its radiant and expressive interpretations, founded in Krakow in 2012 by Polish violinist Stefan Plewniak, with whom Orlinski frequently performs on international tours.
