About the Event
Take a memorable trip through the Italian opera repertoire, in evocative and intimate surroundings.
The enticing selection of famous arias from the rich repartoire of the Italian Opera Tradition, features songs from masterpieces such as Tosca, La Traviata, Madame Butterfly and La Bohème as well as Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro. The Church of Santo Stefano in the heart of Siena's old town center offers a special atmosphere for this performance of famous arias and duets.
Each show will feature different artists each evening, each one with his/her own unique repertoire. In this way, it will be organized unique and unrepeatable concerts every evening

I am an architect who does a lot of musical spaces, including recording and performing. The musicians were talented to be sure. Unfortunately the geometry, dimensions and concave surfaces produced a lot of unwanted focus and reflections. The piano was so very loud in comparison, so you basically have three talented people competing, and against a foe without mercy. The room was too small for the projected volumes, and focus and reflections prevented the blend matching the individual talents

The Italian Opera in Siena concert was wonderful. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy and made my stop in Siena all the more enjoyable. The venue was perfect and the staff was very friendly and helpful. an amazing experience!
