Dresden, Dresdner Zwinger — Wallpavillon
About the Event
Longing for Italy? 'La Dolce Vita' finds its way into the Dresdner Zwinger. Intoxicating arias and famous sonatas and interludes from Italian operas sound. The DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER and his vocal soloists interpret works by Giacomo Puccini, Gioachino Rossini and Guiseppe Verdi and take you on a small, musical holiday to Italy. Immerse yourself in the world of opera on our 'Italian Night'.
The concert hall in the Wall Pavilion is located on the upper level of the Dresden Zwinger opposite the Glockenspiel Pavilion. One path leads up from the inner courtyard of the Zwinger via curved steps. The second path leads from Theaterplatz over a small rampart — located to the right of the Alte Meister restaurant / Theaterplatz 1a and opposite the left side of the Semperoper Dresden — to the upper level. This access is barrier‐free, but only as far as the auditorium. There are three sandstone steps to climb. On concert days, signs will guide you to us. Due to the historical construction, the toilets and the hall are unfortunately not barrier‐free but only accessible via steps.
