I Flautisti — the colorful recorders: Convent of Saint Agnes in Prague

About the Event

Future members of I Flautisti met at the Royal College of Music in London and founded their ensemble in 2009. It could not have been created elsewhere as England is the cradle of the so‐called 'consort,' an ensemble composed of the same instruments, but of different ranges. The result is grazing not only for the ears, but also for the eyes, as some recorders have really decorative shapes.
You can find the repertoire of I Flautisti across the ages and nations — between the 14th and 21st centuries, between Moravia and Belgium, England and Germany.
