About the Event

Experience Arthur Honegger's oratorio, 'Jeanne d'Arc au Bûcher', performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic Choir of Brno, and the Kühn Childrens Choir under the baton of Libor Pešek.

Honegger's composition depicts the last minutes of the heroines life and tells her story through remembered scenes. It is part oratorio, part opera, and Honegger took the liberty to add spoken parts to the work.
