About the Event
The Deutsche Oper Berlin presents Engelbert Humperdinck's 'Hänsel und Gretel', one of the most popular operas for the entire family for over a hundred years.
Andreas Homoki and set designer Wolfgang Gussmann tell the story of Hänsel und Gretel so that children can enjoy it. Children as young as eight will thrill to Humperdinck's fairytale, in which Good triumphs over Evil, and Hansel and Gretel, by virtue of their courage and ingenuity, liberate not only themselves but also all the other children, who have been transformed into gingerbread by the witch.
In German, with German and English surtitles.
