About the Event

Goran Bregovic, for decades known worldwide for his music for the films of his compatriot Emir Kusturica, assembles Balkan brass, traditional Bulgarian polyphony, electric guitar and percussion at Konzerthaus Berlin. The result is a magical evening of music containing the echo of wedding and funeral songs, chants and prayers of Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Roma, a sound which our soul instinctively recognizes and irresistibly compells the body to dance.
