Italian actor and film director Giancarlo Giannini performs Shakespeare, accompanied by the inventive, critically acclaimed pianist Giovanni Bellucci.

This performance at the Bologna Festival is dedicated to the English playwright and the music that was inspired by his works. Excerpts from "Hamlet", "The Tempest", "Othello", and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" are on the program, together with a wide variety of music, from Byrd to Beethoven.
