Gala programme at the beginning of summer at Schloss Grafenegg

About the Event

The Midsummer Night's Gala is a highly anticipated musical event in Europe that captivates television audiences. However, nothing compares to the experience of witnessing it firsthand at the Wolkenturm. The vibrant melodies of the Tonkunstler Orchestra and the international brilliance of renowned soloists elevate Grafenegg's open‐air season, heightening the excitement for the upcoming festival months. Regula Mühlemann, a renowned soprano, returns to Grafenegg after her resounding successes at the Salzburg Festival and Vienna State Opera. Pene Pati, a talented Samoan tenor, celebrates his Wolkenturm debut, while Martynas Levickis expands the classical orchestral sound with his accordion, making his first appearance at the festival.

Known for its unique atmosphere, Schloss Grafenegg has been hosting events for over 30 years. Its cultural program attracts thousands of visitors each year, with Advent in Grafenegg becoming a beloved fixture in Lower Austria. Building on this rich history, the Schloss Grafenegg estate is embarking on one of Austria's most ambitious cultural projects. Plans include the creation of an open‐air stage and a new concert hall, which will provide the necessary space for Schloss Grafenegg to establish itself as a truly exceptional cultural center on an international scale.
