Together with Gottfried von der Goltz, she will lead the ensemble musically, succeeding Kristian Bezuidenhout, who will remain closely associated as a soloist and 'Maestro al Cembalo'. The upcoming season not only brings new personnel but also promises a selection of novelties and rare pieces.
Ending the 2023/24 season with a concert in May themed 'Donner‐Ode', the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra will host the Ensemble Vox Luminis once again. Lionel Meunier will conduct works celebrating the power of nature and the magnificence of divine creation.
