Franz Liszt & Richard Strauss: Budapest Festival Orchestra

Hear works by Liszt and Strauss interpreted by the Budapest Festival Orchestra and conductor Iván Fischer.

The evening begins with Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody for which the orchestra will be joined by cimbalom player Oszkár Ökrös. In Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 2 pianist Dejan Lazić can show his skill. The program ends with Strauss' homage to Nietsche's genius: "Thus Spoke Zarathustra".
