Hilary Hahn was considered a child prodigy and is now a world‐class violinist who enchants with her flawless technique and beautiful tone. The talents of the charismatic American can be experienced with the violin concerto by Jean Sibelius. The composition with its dark colouring, folkloristic verve and impressive virtuoso challenges is one of the most important violin works of the 20th century.
