Flowing Water: The Ancient and the New at Bologna Festival
About the Event
In this highly‐anticipated concert, hea masterworks of music at Bologna's atmospheric Oratorio di San Filippo Neri.
The voice of Laura Catrani, among the interpreters of reference for many composers of our time, increasingly moves between the opposite but complementary shores of new and early music. The itinerary of 'Flowing Water,' born from a collaboration with Claudio Astronio, reveals an iridescent and changing nature, skirting waterways, by their nature fluid and highly mobile, drawn on one side by Händel, Purcell and Barbara Strozzi, on the other by Berio, Glass and Marianne Faithfull.
