ECM Festival: Chung Myun‐Whun performs Arvo Pärt

Experience two very different compositions by Arvo Pärt with "Fratres" and "Credo" performed by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Chung Myun‐Whun.

Pärt's "Credo" was the last piece he composed before he began experimenting with a new composition technique. "Fratres" on the other hand was written after Pärt's creative crisis and is an example of the style that became known as "tintinnabuli".

This evening's concert will be rounded off by Brahm's Symphony No. 4, which was the last he ever composed.
