About the Event

There is only one formation like this: ten top musicians form the extraordinary, highly professional brass ensemble GERMAN BRASS. With four trumpets, two horns, three trombones and a tuba, they have played a decisive role in shaping brass culture over the decades and have become the most successful brass ensemble in Europe. Their particular specialty is outstanding arrangements of classical music their repertoire includes Bach, Haendel, Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky. But GERMAN BRASS also performs jazz, film music and even pop.

The ensemble was founded in 1974 and has been building on its success story ever since, filling concert halls at home and abroad. Over the years, new line‐ups have been mastered with aplomb and an enormous wealth of musical knowledge has been amassed. This is how brass became gold!
