Dresden Music Festival: Danish String Quartett

About the Event

Immerse yourself in the stunning architecture of Dresden's breathtaking Deutsches Hygiene‐Museum for the ultimate concert set to awake your understanding of chamber music.

The four unconventional gentlemen of the Danish String Quartet have been stirring up the quartet scene for many years. The Danish musicians, who were very young at the time, met and got together in summer courses, and since then they have conveyed mutual friendship and joy, whether in conversation or on the concert stage. The musical border crossers, who have everything from Danish folk songs to modern music in their repertoire without neglecting 'classics' such as Schubert, never play in suits or tails. And their sound is just as wonderfully uninhibited, a refreshing sample of which can be heard at the Hygiene Museum.
